Very deep aromas on the nose thanks to the great vintage, dominated by ripe black berry fruit with a hint of fine barrel spice. The palate is thick and complex, with ripe fruits. Excellent balance, the layered full body is nicely held by the acidity and ripe tannins. Extremely long finish. 

This wine is delicious with: Roast beef, game dishes, smoked cheese and roast lamb.
